New: Reply to messages directly from your email client

Providing easy ways to communicate with residents was
always a core part of Active Building's offering. Users of our service,
whether residents or management teams, love getting those messages about
package deliveries, service requests, or just periodical updates,
straight to their email client of choice (Outlook, Gmail, etc). From day
one we made sure not to force users to visit their portal just in-order
to get updates, we deliver the news to them by using email or SMS.
The
problem was that in order to reply to a message, a user had to log in
to their property website and use the built in messaging interface.
Well, not any more. Starting today we are enabling a true two-ways
communication mechanism straight from your email client of choice. For
example, if you are working with Outlook and you get a message from the
portal, notifying you that a resident has a question, you’ll be able to
simply click reply and write a response back. In addition, we are still
going to keep a copy of your reply in the online message-box for your
records.
This is one more step in making our service work around
your needs. We strongly believe that good software should adapt to how
you work, not the other way around.
